Bennetts Winter Sports  was established in 2012 between two school friends, Russell Bennett and Richard Mills both who shared a passion for skiing.  Russ is the owner and Managing Director of Bennetts Motor Cycles whilst Richard who studied law at University followed his heart and decided he wanted others to enjoy the sport he loved and spent time working for two major winter sports company where he mastered the
trade.
Sadly Richard passed away in 2021 but we know he would have wanted the business he and Russ established to carry on and we are now delighted Chris has joined us to carry on our professional boot fitting service.  Chris and Richard worked together in 2006 where they both became proficient and gained experience in custom made insoles, ensuring selecting the correct boot and taking into consideration any issues the customer may have.  Chris also holds a  degree in Sports and Exercise Science enabling him to assist and advise customers accordingly.
Russ, besides managing Bennetts Motor Cycles is the former Chairman of the Lyons Ski Club at the Xscape, Castleford and is a qualified Ski Instructor. His son Elliott began skiing at the age of 3 and is now a 
member of the British Ski Team with Olympic aspirations as well as a BASI level 3 ISIA Ski instructor.
